Book Club
San Francisco’s premier book club on personal and professional growth
Next Book Club Meeting
Our book club is currently postponed until further notice.
What’s the Mission?
The mission SF Coaches Book Club is to provide an opportunity for members of SF Coaches to connect with the general public using a book that they feel passionate about that fits snugly within their coaching niche. Our intention is that book club discussions are a rewarding experience for our members, as both facilitators and as participants.
How does it Work?
The SF Coaches Book Club provides the format and venue. The Book Club Organizer is the primary contact to the bookstore, and is responsible for scheduling coaches to facilitate each month. The organizer also coordinates marketing.
Who Facilitates?
Facilitators are Bay Area Coaches members who would like to showcase a book within their coaching niche.
What Types of Books?
The book each month is chosen by the facilitator. It will usually align with their coaching niche and they tend to typically have a self-improvement theme.
How do I Join?
It’s incredibly easy – you just show up! Anyone is welcome to join a book club discussion at no cost, coaches and non-coaches alike. The book club is not something you must commit to on an ongoing basis, but rather you may freely come and go as the titles interest you. Each month is its own stand-alone free-form discussion. If you’re interested in a specific month’s topic but haven’t had time to read the book, you are still very welcome.
When and Where?
The book club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Books, Inc., 501 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, from 6:30 – 8:00pm.
